What's a realistic wedding attendance rate?
A widely used rule of thumb is that roughly 10-20% of invited guests won't attend a local wedding, so about 80-90% come. When more guests have to travel, that share climbs: a mixed local/out-of-town list often sees around 25% decline, and a true destination wedding can see 30-45% unable to make it.
